The trip was organized to explore the cultural heritage of Myanmar and Vietnam. The main areas visited were Yangon, Bagan, Inle Lake, Hanoi, Halong Bay and Hoi An.
The trip included city tour of the Yangon including the Sule Pagoda and the Shwedagon pagoda; the most prominent monument in Yangon.
Bagan is Myanmar’s archaeological wonderland. In Bagan the group enjoyed an exotic horse - cart ride to the largest temple; Nan Paya pagoda and many other sites. In the late afternoon, the group took a beautiful sunset cruise on the Ayeyarwaddy River. In the evening, they watched a traditional puppet show, something Myanmar is famous for.
During the visit to Inle Lak, one could enjoy the fascinating landscape of the lake along with the scene of local tribes in their colorful clothes and exotic market atmosphere.
In Hanoi, the team enjoyed a city tour of Vietnam’s charming Capital, with its boulevards French Colonial architecture peaceful lakes and ancient oriental pagodas.
In Hoi, an Eco tour was taken in the morning and a sunset tour in the evening.
Next is Hoi An city, which is a riverside town. It thrived from the 16th -18th as an international trading port specifically for silk.
Next visit is a cruise to Halong Bay. This magnificent water landscape is breathtaking and serene . The trip included Bai Tu Long Bay Thein Canh Son Cave Hon Co Island and Vung Vieng fishing village which rowing boats were used to reach them.
